Thanks for sharing this KC. I haven't yet encountered this concept on Google v. Memo culture, but it's a good analogy. What's also interesting is that, the Google culture tends to result in wasted meeting times. I can't remember how many meetings I've been to that lasted 40-60 minutes. And after all is said and done, I'd go: "That could've been said in 10-minutes," (or in a Memo).

The brain is a “muscle”, you have to exercise it… There has been numerous studies on how the internet has altered the attention spans of chronic users. Having AI ‘editing’ our research data contributes to the dumbing down of human effort and increasing disconnection and isolation from our work. How can one care about their work if they’re not intimately involved?

Even the “memo” group is being infiltrated with AI. Logitech has just developed an AI mouse with buttons to immediately summon AI “data” on topics and then assemble a summary at the push of a button. We’re sleepwalking into obsolescence. https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/mice/signature-ai-edition-m750-wireless-mouse.910-007396.html
